Description
The world-famous Renzo Gracie No-Gi Open 2010 will feature over 60 divisions and an anticipated 1000 competitors vying for the gold in the first-ever "Open" tournament offered by the Renzo Gracie Academy. The event will be a true test for athletes who want to compete against the very best grapplers in the sport. The event will also feature a Black Belt Absolute Division with a grand prize of $3,000!
Competitors who register to compete receive complimentary access to the MMA World Expo.
Spectator fees are included with the MMA World Expo registration fee.

The All-New No-Gi TakeDown Tournament will pit 20 athletes from various styles of martial artists against one another in a bid to take their opponent to the mat. "In most MMA fights, a key component to a successful outing is the takedown," said tournament director, Mark Yehia of Elite Plus MMA and added, "MMA fighters have to find ways of mastering this maneuver to win." The tournament will be a point-based competition and will offer five weight-divisions. The event will take place on Saturday, November 13th .
